Mr. Kishore Jadwani, Chairman of The Janpragati Education Society is a Pharmacy graduate from Dr. Hari Singh Gour University, Sagar, M.P., which is a renowned Institute of Pharmacy in the country. He is also a qualified chemist from the Food and Drug Administration (M.P.).

He belongs to a reputed business family of Raipur, which runs wholesale and retail pharmacy trade under the umbrella of ‘Laxmi Medical Stores’. Besides this, he is also engaged in manufacturing of petrochemical and telecommunication products under the name of Columbia Petrochemicals.

Chairman’s Message
 

Swami Vivekananda said among hundreds of things, "Take up an idea, think of it, dream of it, let all your veins, brains and muscles be full with that idea and just forget all other ideas; success will be yours!".

Columbia Global School is translation of a dream and an ideal into reality. Columbia has already achieved high standards in academics and we are proud of it and are thankful to God Almighty. We are aiming to achieve much more – totality of all round education. We realise India’s future is being moulded in India’s classrooms. And we are trying to create excellence in our classrooms.

The dream is of a resurgent India, which can bring back the glory of ancient India, where material, intellectual and spiritual advancement went hand–in-hand. The India of Buddha and Shankaracharya, Vardhamana and Guru Nanak. The India of Askoka, Chanakya, Vivekananda and Mahatma Gandhi.

But where are we now? We are a nation of over 1.2 billion struggling for existence. Many are very pessimistic about a revival for India. I beg to differ from them! India can have a glorious future if only we find out all that is good in our past and put into practice at least one idea of any one of those eminent men of ours. This is only one of the many things we can do.

Let me say, our future is assured. Yes, a glorious future is assured, if we have the will to do it!

Secretary of The Jan Pragati Education Society, Mr. Harjeet Singh Hura holds a masters degree in Pharmaceutical Chemistry from Dr. Hari Singh Gour University, Sagar (M.P.). He is experienced in the field of Pharma production (with Ranbaxy Pharma), sales (with Alembic Pharma) and as a chemist for the last thirteen years with Jeet Medicals, Raipur.

Columbia Global School is the right platform for the holistic development a student and for those parents who want their child to reach the pinnacle of success. Of course success is not an easily available thing.
 

Secretary’s Message

Achieving success does take effort, it does take self discipline and it does take investment of your time. There is no one in this world who has become automatically successful and built an extraordinary life without having taken time, to pay the price to get what they desired to get. But one thing is true that if you get the correct platform, right guidance, proper management and perfect backup, it reduces your time and effort.

The school seeks to bridge the ever-widening gap between the Teacher, the Taught & the Curriculum. Our goal is to provide an enriching, engaging, and challenging curriculum that will prepare students for success while at school and also for the years to follow.

Columbia Global School strives to instil in all its students strong leadership qualities, a sense of team work, fair play and a desire to excel, so as to grow up and become mature and responsible global citizens.

Mr. Ravinder Singh Hura, the Director of Columbia Global School holds a bachelors degree in Engineering from SRM University, Chennai with specialisation in Electronics & Communication. He has worked with Gofrugal Technologies, Chennai & Fleming Gulf, Bengaluru before joining as director. Having studied at Holy Cross, Kapa in Raipur he is well aware of the education scenario prevalent today. He has been striving hard to make the dream of fun and activity based learning come true by intensive research and study of the education sector and along with The Jan Pragati Education Society, wants the students of Columbia Global School to gain global exposure.

Education is the basis of all progress and that progress is only possible, if men and women are equally well-educated. Imparting education does not just mean only passing on bookish knowledge. Real education should inculcate humanitarian values like wisdom, courage, humility, compassion, empathy and reliability in a child.

Principal of Columbia Global School, Mr. Ivan Smith holds a degree in B.Ed., M.A(English) and M.Com. Before joining the school, he served as a Principal in Vicon School, Raipur.

Your hard work, persistence and continuous efforts have helped you in the last year and these are the vital elements that will always help you and make you successful.

We want you and will train you all to develop into independent thinkers and problem solvers, who strive for excellence in and out of their classrooms.

Your teachers, who have been your friend, mentor and guide, standing by your side have put in a lot of efforts into teaching you and will continue with the same enthusiasm and vigour in this academic year too. Keep asking them those questions and don’t let them sleep without answering them.

Your teachers will be facilitators constantly working to make learning full of activities with fun, and will give you real life learning experiences which will help you grow academically, and also help you grow in confidence to face all challenges in life. They have and will continue to provide a welcoming and safe environment to you, where positive relationships are developed.

We will continue to focus on your all-round development which means you will need to put in all your efforts and energy into studying, playing, singing, dancing, drawing, and doing everything you are asked to.

So DON’T SAY ‘NO’ but TRY, TRY & keep TRYING till you achieve your goal.
